Tools: plastic bottle, plastic pen cap, modelling clay, beaker, water.

Process:

• Put modelling clay around the pen cap leaving the opening free.
• Put the pen cap in the beaker filled with water.
• If the pen cap floats, put it in the bottle filled with water and close the bottle.
• Observe

Pomôcky: plastová fľaša, plastový vrchnák z pera, plastelína, kadička, voda.

Postup:

• Oblepíme vrchnák plastelínou pri čom otvor musí byť otvorený.
• Potom ponoríme vrchnák z pera do kadičky s vodou.
• Ak bude vrchnák plávať, tak do fľaše nalejeme vodu a vrchnák vložíme do fľaše a uzavrieme. 
• A pozorujeme

Conclusion: By squeezing the bottle the pen cap starts to sink. The air bubble in the pen cap becomes smaller as the water starts getting in. When the pressure on the bottle is released the air bubble in the pen cap increases in size and the pen cap rises to the surface.

Záver: Stlačením fľaše sa vrchnák bude potápať. Bublina vo vrchnáku sa bude zmenšovať lebo voda bude vnikať do vrchnáka. Keď pustíme fľašu tak bublina vo vrchnáku sa zvätší a tak vypláva na hor.
